In his free time, Abhay loves to create new crafts and loves to watch anime as well.
Alisha Ahmed

Alisha Ahmed graduated with a diploma in Computer Science from Ramaiah Polytechnic, Bangalore, and has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology, Bangalore, India.Alisha finds virtual reality very fascinating and loves to explore and build immersive content experiences. Her curiosity about VR experiences and her inquisitiveness to build has helped her gain remarkable achievements at her institutions. She is a public speaker and loves to organize and host events. She is passionate about teaching and loves to teach young kids as she finds it to be a great learning experience.Alisha loves nature and enjoys traveling. In her spare time, she is a painter and also writes poems, quotes and technical blogs.
Andre Lafosse

Andre LaFosse earned a BFA in guitar performance from CalArts in 1997, and has been teaching guitar on a steady basis for nearly two decades, to hundreds of private students of all ages and abilities. For beginners, he has a wide range of approaches to introduce different concepts, and a long history of addressing and correcting problems with physical technique. For more experienced players, Andre has spent extensive time teaching rock, jazz, classical, blues, folk, and world music, as well as writing, improvising, ear training, and studio recording. Beyond specific genres, he encourages ongoing study of the core aspects of playing that exist in any type of music, including tone, rhythm, articulation, phrasing, timing, and dynamics. When not teaching, Andre likes to spend time with family, watch tutorial videos (on both music and non-music subjects), and experiment with electronic music and sound design.

For more than 10 years of working in the IT industry, she was able to handle different applications such as CRM, Analytics, Data Warehousing, and Attendance and Payroll Systems among others. She has experiences in developing applications with various industries and has done systems analysis and handled teams as well.Prior to teaching at Youngwonks, she decided to be a full time mom and was able to focus on teaching her children as well. She believes that in teaching children, it is easier for them to understand when they're interested in what they're doing. Erika loves to play tennis. She also likes to learn new things such as playing a musical instrument or crafting in her spare time. She also loves to travel with her family.

Hridaya Annuncio has a BTech degree in Computer Science from NIIT University, Rajasthan with a specialization in Data Science. She has previously worked at IBM on research-based projects that include working with MBRDI(Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India) and DARPA( The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency). She has worked on Deep Learning, Big Data Analytics and Computer Vision and has a deep fondness for these areas of Computer Science. Hridaya is passionate about music and has done her 8th grade in Western classical piano from Trinity Guildhall and has a junior diploma in Hindustani classical vocal music from Gandharva Vidhyalaya. She enjoys listening to different kinds of music and loves to travel, discover and learn about different cultures. She also likes to bake in her spare time.
Jayson Harriott

Jayson has a Bachelor's degree in Operations Research and Management Science from the University of California, Berkeley. He is proficient with: Python, Java, MySQL, and R. During his time at UC Berkeley, Jayson has done a number of projects that utilized his skills with Python to make data-driven decisions through data analysis or make machine learning models. While Jayson was going through college, he tutored students in all forms of mathematics. He was also a part of a club that promoted STEM Education to high schools in the San Francisco Bay Area. In his free time, Jayson likes to play all sorts of games.
Jessica Ryan

Jessica teaches Music classes at YoungWonks. Jessica Ryan's love of music goes back to her childhood. Her family enjoys music, and this passion has been passed down from generation to generation She was a recipient in solo recitals, guild auditions, and has received placements in completions and earned scholarships from the Maryland State Music Teachers Association, the Music Teachers Association of Southern Maryland, and the Music Teachers Association of Charles County. She pursued a bachelor's degree in music and graduated in 2015. She also found passion in teaching so what better way than to put them together! Since graduation, she taught students of all ages and levels of advancement through her private home, company, classroom and has once served as a music faculty in a Montessori school. Her favorite composer is Claude Debussy and her favorite quote is "Works of art make rules; rules do not make works of art."- Claude Debussy. Her philosophy is that music is not only supposed to be educational but should be fun and enjoyable!

His technical experience includes popular programming languages like Python, JavaScript, or C/C++. He aims to be the mentor that he would want and encourages students to not be afraid to ask questions until they completely understand. Julian is passionate about game development and participates in coding jams and indie game developer events. He believes having fun with your code is important because it makes programming more interesting and addictive. Part of the fun in making games is thinking about the design and mechanics used to put the game together. He uses his knowledge of video game development to help kids use best coding practices when they develop their own games. Leonel Cruz

Leonel teaches 3D modeling and animation classes at YoungWonks. Leonel graduated with a BFA in Animation and VFX at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco in 2016. Afterwards, he worked at a 3D printing company in San Francisco as a 3D printing specialist. He would 3D model custom orders and ensure they were printed correctly. He has been a YoungWonks instructor since 2017 and also serves as the in-house designer. Leonel’s teaching methodology is all about concept repetition until a student gets it. Not only that but he also explains concepts using a language anyone can understand. When he is not working he enjoys playing video games, 3D modeling, drawing, and drinking coffee.
Naveen Kumar

Naveen Kumar completed his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science and Engineering from National Institute of Technology,Delhi in New Delhi,India. Naveen is familiar with programming languages such as C,C++, Java, Python as well as MATLAB. He has also done App Development on Android. He also has experience working on web development frameworks such as Flask and Node js. Richard is an experienced teacher. He has experience teaching elementary and intermediate algebra, has worked as a graduate assistant for linear algebra and advanced calculus at college level and has provided IT training to students at a community college. He has also configured software for Nuclear Medicine and has programmed for payroll and hour resource databases. Richard loves teaching students Computer Science and Mathematics. He enjoys teaching kids to write code and solve mathematics problems. He helps kids understand computer science and mathematics concepts well and makes computer programming and mathematics even more interesting to them. Sai Sandesh has a Master of Science degree in Industrial IT and Automation from the University of South-Eastern Norway. His skills include System Identification, MATLAB and Computer Programming with Python. Sai is also proficient in SIMULINK and LabVIEW. Before joining YoungWonks, Sai worked at TATA Consultancy Services (TCS) and Wipro. Sai believes that the world is competitive and an early start can give anyone an edge. He wants to contribute to the world by teaching kids and nurturing their young minds in the field of programming. Besides being an instructor, Sai is a sports enthusiast currently training in MMA. Shashank Sathyan

Shashank has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer science from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Bangalore, India. He is proficient in Python, Java, C and C++ programming languages. His area of interest is Machine Learning. He has worked on a project which involved building an analytical model for the prediction of an Electron Beam Weld which was written in Python. He has also worked on a project at the Liquid Propulsion System Center(LPSC), a R&D center functioning under Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). He is a motorcyclist and an anime enthusiast.
Shivendra Singh

Shivendra is currently teaching 3D Modeling and Animation classes at YoungWonks, which is a digital art class that teaches kids the fundamentals of 3D design. He graduated with a BTech degree in Computer Science from NIIT University in Neemrana, India. He worked as a Graphic Designer at a design firm after graduating. He has designed visual identities, social media posts, and animations for multiple clients. Shivendra loves the idea of teaching by exploration. He believes in giving the student all the necessary tools and concepts and letting them play around with them. He specializes in 3D sculpting and his preferred sculpting programs of choice are Blender and ZBrush. Shivendra loves drawing, photography, and reading comics in his free time.
Shravan Sridhar

Shravan has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science Engineering from NIIT University with a specialization in Data Science. He is proficient in Python, R, C, Java and MySQL. He has worked on Image Classification using SVM/CNN and Recommendation System using Collaborative Filtering/KNN. Shravan has always wanted to give back to the society and help humanity to the best of his capacity and he strongly feels that teaching is one of the best ways to achieve this. Shreya Iyer

Shreya has a bachelor's degree in Electronics and Instrumentation from Amrita School of Engineering, Bangalore. She has always been passionate about coding in Python and has worked with python, Open CV, Tesseract, HTML, and CSS during her academic days. Shreya always loved to teach and finds great pleasure in teaching her favorite coding language, Python. She is working on selenium testing for web applications. Dancing, reading, and cooking are some of the activities she loves to do in her free time.

Shreya R is a graduate of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham with a Btech degree in Electronics and Communication. She is a python programmer and has also worked on other languages like C++, C#, and Java in the past. She has worked on basic web-based technologies like HTML, CSS, and frameworks like flask and FastAPI. She has also worked on a few projects and courses in Data Science during college. Currently, she is working on mobile development using flutter. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the terrain of new places and attending cultural events whenever possible. Steven currently works as a full-time engineer. Steven was also a teacher-assistant for an Accelerated Java Programming undergraduate level course during his college days. He has also taught the fundamentals of tennis and the strategical plays for singles and doubles for 4 years to children and adults at the Fremont Tennis Center. He loves to mentor, assess and challenge his students to build their critical-thinking skills. Steven’s hobby is art. He loves to paint, draw, sculpt and many other kinds of art.
Suchin Ravi

Suchin has a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering degree from California State University, San Jose, California and an undergraduate Bachelor of Engineering degree from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Karnataka, India. Suchindran is an experienced eletronics engineer and has worked at Marvell Semiconductors and Scalable Systems Research Labs. He is working on developing a parallel processor for high performance computing. Suchin loves to code and loves to teach. He is very interested in helping kids work on electronics and programming projects to create robots and automated systems. Suchin is also a musician and plays guitar as part of a music band.
